A very “busy” commercial site but can provide brief articles on notable personalities from antiquity to the present. Entries include dates, career information, and alternate spellings/versions of the name.
Colonial Hall: Biographies of America’s Founders
These are divided into three categories: Signers of the Declaration, Articles of Confederation, and the U.S. Constitution. The biographies are mostly scanned from two sources: Lives of the Signers to the Declaration of Independence (1829) and The United States Manual of Biography and History (1856).
Presidents and Presidential Libraries
Provides biographical information for all the U.S. Presidents, with information about presidential libraries if one has been established. Included are links to various other resources such as speeches, historic sites, and schools named after the presidents.
